Our financial literacy curriculum for kids is designed to provide a comprehensive and age-appropriate introduction to money management. Across four key units, children learn to understand money, make smart spending decisions, save for their goals, and earn responsibly:
Understanding Money: Kids explore the concept of money, its history from barter to digital transactions, and the different types of money like coins, notes, digital money, and foreign currency. They also learn how money flows in everyday life.
Spending Wisely: Children understand the difference between needs and wants, prioritize purchases, compare prices, and learn the value of sharing and helping others. This unit encourages smart, thoughtful spending while introducing saving and donation habits.
Saving for the Future: Kids learn why saving is important, explore various saving methods such as piggy banks and savings jars, and set short- and long-term savings goals. They also plan how to manage pocket money by dividing it into saving, spending, and sharing.
Earning & Responsibility: Children discover the different ways people earn money—through jobs or businesses—and the importance of hard work, effort, and responsibility. They also learn to use money wisely, avoid waste, and make informed decisions about their earnings.
Through hands-on activities, real-life examples, stories, and interactive exercises, children gradually develop the skills, confidence, and habits needed to manage money effectively. By the end of this course, kids are equipped to make smart financial choices and build a strong foundation for a lifetime of money confidence
